Tallahassee is in Leon County and is one of the best places to live in Florida. Living in Tallahassee offers residents an urban/suburban mix and feel. It is a great area to raise children in. It is located in northwest Florida, serves as the state’s capital and is also a major hub for higher education and scientific research with two major Universities - FSU and FAMU. It’s large enough to have the attractions of a big city (entertainment and symphony), but also small enough to be a pleasant change of pace for those coming from larger cities. Nobody complains about the lack of traffic jams!
