Pre-Medical Advising: Overview

The Pre-Health Advisor assists students to integrate all of the components required for a competitive professional school application including superior grades (especially in the prerequisite course work), a variety of clinical experiences, supportive letters of recommendation, and a well-written personal statement. Direction and support are offered from the initial advising meeting through the entire application process.

Students entering college with accelerated credit need to plan their premedical track carefully and, use the Guide for Accelerated Credit Students to get started.

The FAQ sheet includes helpful information on Prerequisite Classes, Majors, Appointments, and our Letter Service.

Appointments are currently prioritized for FSU students and alumni. *
