- Meet with your IMS Academic Advisor and EL Advisor every semester.
- You should be completing a minimum of 32 Experiential Learning hours each semester.
- Be sure to follow your IMS Academic Advisor’s advice on course scheduling to remain on track to graduate, meet mapping milestones, and not exceed excess credits.
- If you choose to enroll in a FIG or other courses other than the one advised to take, be aware that some of those courses may not count toward your degree requirement and could impact excess credits.
- Be sure to check prerequisites for all courses you plan to enroll in.
- Taking courses out of sequence can prevent you from graduating or delay graduation.
- Having a strong math and science background is important for the advanced sciences you will be taking in the future.
- Go to all of your classes and be on time.
- Attend instructor’s and/or TA’s office hours for assistance.
