We believe each person possesses an internal reservoir of well-being.

Wellness

We create multiple opportunities for each of our residents to individually and collectively keep their reservoirs as full as possible in order to be ready for the inevitable challenges of life and residency that deplete our wellbeing.

At our residency program, the faculty, staff, and fellow residents encourage each other to identify activities that fill our internal reservoirs so that we can weather periods of hardship. We have a wellness committee comprised of residents and faculty who help to plan training and activities that enhance well-being. We also hold monthly support groups for each class, quarterly team building half-days for all residents and an annual resident retreat.
