Matthew Buck, M.D., was named chief of staff at Memorial Hospital and Manor in Bainbridge, Georgia, in February 2020. Posted 4.6.20.

Kate Ross, M.D., got engaged to Joel Gerber in October 2019. Posted 4.6.20.

Justin Ruoss, M.D., completed his diagnostic radiology residency at UF College of Medicine and is now working at Doctors Imaging Group in Gainesville. He is board-certified in pediatrics and board-eligible for radiology.  Posted 2.02.21.

Stephenie Scully, M.D., is the medical director of acute mental health services at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Posted 4.6.20.

Eilene Weibley, M.D., recently moved to Atlanta and is a family physician at Emory University Hospital.  Posted 2.02.21.

 

Updates in 2019

Tanya Anim, M.D., is now practicing as a family physician with the FSU College of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program at Lee Health in Fort Myers. Anim also was named chair of FSU Medical Alumni in March. Posted 8.7.19.

Leroy Cordero Floyd III, M.D., is now the Director of Hospital Medicine at Greater Hudson Valley Health Systems in Middletown, NY. Posted 8.7.19.

Nicole McCoy, M.D., completed an additional residency in anesthesiology and perioperative medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is now a pediatric anesthesia fellow at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Posted 8.7.19.

Adam S Branoff, M.D., has returned to Florida to practice emergency medicine at Baptist Health in Jacksonville. Posted 4.1.18.

Matthew A Johnston, M.D., completed a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at Wake Forest School of Medicine where he has joined the faculty in the Department of Surgical Sciences-Cardiothoracic Surgery. Posted 4.1.18.

Jimmy L Moss Jr., M.D., completed a fellowship in critical care anesthesia at Harvard Medical School. He is now working full time in critical care medicine. How works for CEP America, where most of his patients are indigent and extremely underserved. He also works at Carle Foundation Hospital, a community hospital affiliated with the University of Illinois Medical School. Posted 4.1.18.

Naderge Pierre, M.D., completed a colon and rectal fellowship and is now a colon and rectal surgeon at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. Posted 4.1.18.

Lisa A Radkay-Gonzalez, M.D., has relocated to San Antonio and is a pathologist with the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. Posted 4.1.18.

James G. Boron, M.D., is an attending trauma and burn surgeon and director of quality at the Cook County Trauma Unit at John H. Stroger Hospital in Chicago. Posted 10.1.17.

Leroy Cordero Floyd III, M.D., is associate medical director for hospital medicine at the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, New York, and adjunct clinical assistant professor of medicine at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. He was chief medical resident at East Orange (New Jersey) Veterans Hospital. Posted 10.1.17.

Melissa (Graham) Genualdi, M.D., a pediatrician at Swedish Richmond Beach Primary Care Clinic in Shoreline, Washington, welcomed her second child in January 2017. Posted 10.1.17.

William “Adam” Hammond, M.D., completed a hematology and oncology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. He is set to begin practicing hematology, both malignant and non-malignant, at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville in November. With the recent birth of twin boys, the Hammond household now has five kids. Posted 10.1.17.

Mariam Hanna, M.D., is an attending radiologist at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Posted 10.1.17.

Christina Herrera, M.D., is an assistant professor of maternal-fetal medicine at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Posted 10.1.17.

Cara Irwine, M.D., is a neuroradiologist at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, where her husbandclassmate Matt Irwine, M.D., is a musculoskeletal staff radiologist. Posted 10.1.17.

Melissa Kozakiewicz, M.D., began a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Posted 10.1.17.

Nicole McCoy, M.D., is chief resident in the University of Alabama-Birmingham anesthesia residency program in 2017-18 and undergoing the application process for a pediatric anesthesiology fellowship for 2018-19. She recently welcomed her second child. Posted 10.1.17.

Vanessa Prowler, M.D., is a breast surgical oncologist at Lakeland Regional Hospital in Tampa. She completed a breast surgical oncology fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York following her 2016 completion of the general surgery residency program at the University of South Florida. Jennifer Stahl, M.D., is an emergency medicine attending physician and critical-care attending physician at East Carolina University-Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina. She completed a combined residency program in emergency and internal medicine at the Pitt County Memorial Hospital/Brody School of Medicine in North Carolina as well as a critical-care fellowship in 2016. She and her husband, Michael Zimmer, have two sons. Posted 10.1.17.

Christopher Wilbert, M.D., founded the Emergency Ultrasound Program at St. Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, in 2014 and is currently practicing there. Wilbert was a chief resident at New York Methodist Hospital and did a fellowship in emergency ultrasound at Palmetto Health in Columbia, South Carolina. Posted 10.1.17.
