Educational Conferences

A Multidisciplinary Head & Neck Tumor Conference occurs 3 times per week, during which new cancer patients are presented. These conferences are led by Fellowship Program Director Dr. Vosler, and attended by a head and neck surgeon, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, speech pathologists, radiologists, inpatient nurses, and a dedicated head and neck oncology nurse navigator. The fellow will have the opportunity to actively participate and present in all Tumor Boards.

Fellows will also coordinate 2 Community Integrated Journal Clubs, 2 H&N Journal Clubs, and participate in quarterly Research Meetings. At the beginning of the academic year, incoming fellows will meet with Head and Neck Endocrine faculty to distill their research interests and career goals. They will choose at least one research project and an associated mentor that is complementary with ongoing research and attainable within the fellowship duration. They will submit their research to the annual American Head and Neck Society Meeting and at our institutional end-of-year research symposium.
