Dr. Dean is a Monroeville, AL, native. Her experience growing up in a small town inspired her unwavering determination to serve and advocate for underserved communities. This passion was further ignited during her undergraduate years while living in Tuskegee, AL. In 2020, Dr. Dean graduated from Tuskegee University leaving the city with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering and more firsthand knowledge of the unique challenges faced by individuals who reside in medically underserved areas. This profound experience propelled her towards pursuing a medical education at the University of South Alabama Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine, where she became a founding member of the Primary Care Pathway (PCP) Scholars Program.

Within the PCP Scholars Program, Dr. Dean actively engaged in numerous Quality Improvement projects aimed at enhancing health outcomes for underserved and rural populations, collaborating closely with the Health Department. In addition to her previous involvement in PCP in medical school, Dr. Dean also assumed the role as a Peer Emotional and Educational Resilience (PEER) Supporter, active member of the Student National Medical Association, and co-chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Student Advisory Committee. One of the highest honors she has acquired thus far is being inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society as a testament to her dedication to provide compassionate healthcare. Within the realm of family medicine, she has special interests in both women's health and obstetrics. As a physician, she prides herself on creating a safe space for her patients and allowing her patients to be active participants in shared decision-making. When she's not working, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, baking, and trying new restaurants.

Dr. Lemus is a first-generation Cuban American that was born and raised in Miami, FL. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in interdisciplinary studies from Florida International University (FIU) in 2017. She took time between her matriculation into Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine (NSU KPCOM) in 2019 to teach General Biology 1 and 2 labs at FIU and become a medical scribe for SCRIVAS from 2017 to 2019. During this time, she also completed an accelerated Master of Public Health in Brain, Behavior and the Environment and began medical school shortly after. Dr. Lemus spent her time during medical school advocating for underrepresented individuals through community service and became nominated and inducted as a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Of note, she had gone to Riobamba, Ecuador for a medical mission trip in the past and has intentions to go on more whenever possible! She was also the President of the American Medical Women's Association Region 4 and is passionate about women's rights. Dr. Lemus chose Family Medicine because she loves what it encompasses--which is everything. She hopes to be the point of contact for all her patients' healthcare needs and to always have great continuity of care with her patients of all ages. Outside of medicine, Dr. Lemus loves to draw, paint, spend time in nature, exercise and be with her family and her dog (Vinnie).

Dr. Boettcher, raised in Des Moines, Iowa, earned a BBA in Economics from the University of Iowa, with a certificate in International Business and a minor in Spanish. She completed postbaccalaureate coursework at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and obtained her MD from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Her professional interests include lifestyle medicine, narrative medicine, behavioral health, preventative health care, and dermatology in primary care. Outside of medicine, Dr. Boettcher enjoys traveling, outdoor activities like beach outings and hiking, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Gonzalez is originally from New Jersey and moved to Palm Coast, FL, at the age of six with her family. She later moved to South Florida where she attended high school and college. She began her academic journey studying cellular neuroscience at Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College in Jupiter, FL, before pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a physician at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn, Alabama. She completed the majority of her clinical rotations in Jacksonville and Orange Park, FL where she fell in love with Family Medicine. Professionally, she is dedicated to preventative medicine, comprehensive women's health, weight loss, and addiction medicine, driven by a passion for empowering patients through personalized, holistic care approaches. Dr. Gonzalez is proficient in Spanish and has spent time volunteering at medical clinics in the Caribbean and South America. Outside of medicine, Dr. Gonzalez finds joy in reading, staying active through outdoor sports and group fitness, spending time with her family, savoring the rich flavors of Asian and Latin cuisines, and enjoying a hot cup of tea.

Dr. Sollee was born and raised in Wisconsin and recieved a Bachelor of Schience in Biology and a minor in Spanish for Health Professionals from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with. For medical school, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin - School of Medicine and Public Health as part of the Wisconsin Academy of Rural Medicine (WARM) Program. In addition to primary care, Dr. Sollee has a special interest in obstetrics and Restorative Reproductive Medicine. She has completed training as a medical consultant in the Fertility Education and Medical Management (FEMM) model, will be completing training in Natural Procreative Techology (NaPro) in 2026, and is a Certified Billings Ovulation Method instructor (a Fertility Awareness-Based Method of Natural Family Planning). When not at work, she loves participating actively in her parish community at San Jose Catholic Church, playing board/card games, and swing dancing with her friends. She also enjoys everything outdoors especially volleyball and spikeball.

Dr. Kemmer was born and raised in Houma, Louisiana. She attended Louisiana State University for her undergraduate education, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. Dr. Kemmer went on to pursue a medical degree at LSU Health Sciences in Shreveport, LA, where she developed a deep appreciation for primary care and a desire to care for people of all ages and walks of life. She is excited to serve and get to know the community of Jacksonville and hopes to emphasize preventative care and lifestyle medicine within her practice. During her time off, Dr. Kemmer enjoys spending time with her husband, catching up with family and friends, cooking, exploring Jacksonville and surrounding areas, and spending time outdoors. 

Dr. Louis is a first-generation Haitian American who was born and raised in Lake Worth, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Florida Atlantic University and Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine - Carolinas campus. She's passionate about creating community-wide events, women's health, and teen's health. Her hobbies include being pool-side, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Martinez was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She went on to attend Florida State University and receive her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Continuing her education, Dr. Martinez received her degree as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, AL. During her time in medical school, she was the chapter president of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) and pioneered programs such as Women's Health Week, and then went on to be a member of the national AMSA team where she focused on preventative medicine and osteopathic physician awareness. In her career, she continues to be passionate about women's health, preventative medicine, and dermatology. In Dr. Martinez's free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, camping with her dog and husband, and traveling.

Dr. Nguyen was born in Mobile, AL and raised in Huntsville, AL. She is a first-generation Vietnamese American who is also fluent in Vietnamese. She graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB) with her Bachelor of Science in Public Health and minors in biology and chemistry. She went on to attend medical school at the USA Fredrick P. Whiddon College of Medicine in Mobile, AL and graduated in 2024. During her time in medical school, she was president of the Public Health Interest Group, American Medical Women's Association, and Global Health Collaborative. She is passionate about women's health and community medicine. In her off time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé (Dr. Kevin Nguyen), dogs (Levi and Ollie), family, and friends, traveling, exploring good eats, tennis, working out, and anything that has to do with being outside.

Dr. Adam Robak hails from Charleston, where he completed his undergraduate degree at the College of Charleston before pursuing his medical education at Edward College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Robak holds a special interest in preventive and lifestyle medicine, advocating for proactive health strategies to help patients optimize well-being. Outside of medicine, Dr. Robak finds joy in exploring the beautiful city of Jacksonville with his wife, surfing the Floridian coast, and tending to his home garden. His commitment to holistic health extends beyond the clinic, as he values a balanced lifestyle that supports both physical and mental wellness.

Dr. Varni was born and raised in Northern California, and attended the University of Nevada where he majored in biochemistry in 2012. Before his career in medicine began, he worked in pharmaceutical manufacturing and vaccine research. He also worked as an EMT and ski patroller in Washington state. He attended medical school at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received a primary care scholarship from the National Health Service Corps. Additionally, he sat on the board of the Idaho American Family Physician board of directors as a medical student. He is committed to providing direct care to medically underserved communities, and has a special interest in community medicine, prehospital and preventative care, and osteopathic manipulative medicine.

Dr. Wilson grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. She graduated from Auburn University in 2017. Dr. Wilson then spent some time in Cleveland, Ohio as a research assistant for a pharmacology lab working on treatments for Glioblastomas. She was accepted into Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine - Louisiana in 2020 and received her degree in 2024. During medical school, she served as National Liaison Officer for SOMA as well as the student representative for the Council of Legislation as a part of the Louisiana State Medical Society. During this time, Dr. Wilson developed a passion for working on and developing health policy. Additionally, she spent a rotation working in free clinics in the Dominican Republic. This experience solidified Dr. Wilson's passion for providing medical care in other countries throughout her career. When at home, Dr. Wilson enjoys cooking and snuggling with her chihuahua, Zoey, and cat, Kevin. Besides that, she loves to be outside by the pool, beach, or lake or on long scenic walks. She also adores riding horses and grew up riding and competing nationally.

Dr. Katelyn Brock, from Vicksburg, Mississippi, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Spanish at Mississippi College. She discovered her love for family medicine at a young age, but her love flourished for full scope family medicine and obstetrics while attending the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. Her areas of interest are rural medicine and obstetrics.

Outside of medicine, Katelyn loves to be near any kind of body of water, watch musical theater, and spend time with her family and friends.

Dr. Steven Celmins grew up in the Capital Region of New York before earning his Bachelor’s degree from the University of New England. There, he majored in Business Administration with a minor in Chemistry while playing four years of collegiate basketball. He would go on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, where he saw the great impact family physicians have on patients. Dr. Celmins values the therapeutic partnership and continuity of care experienced within family medicine. He also holds a special interest in sports medicine, an area where he plans to pursue a fellowship. Outside of caring for patients, Dr. Celmins enjoys staying active playing basketball, golfing, exploring Florida’s beautiful beaches, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Dr. Hobgood grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, and earned his undergraduate degree from East Tennessee State University, where the proximity to the Appalachian Trail allowed him to enjoy many of his classes outdoors and enhance his love for nature. He began working in the restaurant industry at age 15 and spent over a decade learning how to talk to anyone, anywhere, at any time. After completing his undergraduate studies, he spent three years working on a cattle farm, building houses, and backpacking solo throughout Southeast Asia. He then completed his medical education at Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Danielle Klem was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado. She pursued her undergraduate education at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology. She subsequently obtained her medical degree from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colorado.

Dr. Klem chose a career in family medicine due to her passion for cultivating enduring relationships with patients and guiding them through pivotal moments across the lifespan. Her clinical interests encompass lifestyle medicine, women’s health, maternity care, pediatrics, and dermatology in primary care.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Klem is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys exploring nature. She has visited over 30 national parks, primarily throughout the western United States, and eagerly anticipates discovering the natural beauty of the East Coast. As an enthusiastic traveler, she seeks out new experiences whenever possible. Among her many journeys, Switzerland remains her favorite destination. When at home, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter, taking advantage of Florida’s scenic beaches, and baking decadent sweet treats. 

Dr. Keisha Parker was born and raised in Washington, DC. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies from Duke University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Management and Management Science from the University of Miami. After a 15-plus year career in business and finance, she sensed a calling to medicine and pursued a post-baccalaureate degree in Pre-Medical Sciences from Virginia Commonwealth University. She earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) Georgia and chose to pursue family medicine as a specialty because of its diversity in both patient populations and disease presentations and its commitment to being on the frontlines of health care. Her professional interests include women’s health and lifestyle medicine. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, gardening, dancing, music, sports, do-it-yourself projects, and spending time with her husband and their puppy.

Dr. Emma Parmer was born and raised in sweet home (Decatur) Alabama, attending Auburn University for her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences. While earning her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at VCOM-Auburn, she developed a passion for sports medicine and intends to complete a Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship. For better or worse, she maintains a love for the Auburn Tigers and the Atlanta Braves. On the weekends, she enjoys running, playing guitar, and checking out local coffee shops.

Dr. Lauren Perez was born and raised in Miami, FL, where she grew up speaking Spanish at home. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Chemistry from Florida State University before receiving her Doctor of Medicine degree from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine, where she reconnected with her Puerto Rican roots and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She was drawn to family medicine for the opportunity to care for patients across all stages of life and build lasting relationships with entire families. Her professional interests include preventative care, lifestyle medicine, women’s health, and managing hormone-related health issues, which she focuses on in her clinical care to help patients live healthier, fuller lives. Outside of medicine, she enjoys exploring the Jacksonville food scene with her fiancé, traveling, spending time with family, and getting lost in a good book.

Dr. Shipp lived somewhat of a nomadic life moving all throughout the United States from rural Wyoming, to the Rockies in Colorado, the Mississippi River and Great Lakes in the Midwest, and now tropical Florida! She earned her undergraduate degrees in pre-medicine and art history from Augustana College in Illinois, where she also was a collegiate long distance runner and underwent bilateral fasciotomies for compartment syndrome. She worked as an ED medical scribe in Milwaukee, WI before attending medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tampa, FL. Dr. Shipp discovered her love for family medicine in an unconventional way, and she could not be more happy to be in such a diverse specialty. Her interests in family medicine are still growing and include women's health, OB, osteopathic manipulation, acute care, mentorship, and hospital medicine. Outside of caring for patients, Dr. Shipp is a published artist. Her mediums are watercolor, acrylic, and oil painting as well as crocheting and knitting. It took her thousands of hours to crochet and paint all of her wedding decorations. She owns a foldable recycled kayak and enjoys doing all things outdoors including hiking, running, biking, yoga, palates, pickleball, tennis, reading, and disc golfing with her husband and miniature dachshund.

Dr. Annlisa Simon grew up in rural South India, where she developed a deep appreciation for nature and the slower pace of country life. After moving to the U.S. in 2013, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida, where she discovered a passion for teaching and research. As a tutor at Broward College and UCF, she supported students in biology and chemistry, adapting materials to diverse learning styles. Her research included work in UCF’s Molecular Neuroscience Lab, focusing on alpha-synuclein in Parkinson’s disease, and earlier projects on microRNA in cancer and non-coding RNA in bacterial gene regulation. Dr. Simon earned her medical degree from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she developed a strong interest in family medicine and plans to pursue a fellowship in obstetrics. During medical school, she served in leadership roles with the Association of Women Surgeons, CMDA, and the Astronomy Club, combining her interests in mentorship, service, and community outreach. A medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic further strengthened her commitment to caring for underserved populations. Outside of medicine, she enjoys gardening, music, scenic drives, and reading poetry.

Dr. Smith graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine. As a student, he led a curricular track on business and entrepreneurship in medicine and spent a summer researching sepsis and Alzheimer’s with the Sepsis and Critical Illness Research Center. He has also co-authored publications on muscle rehabilitation, TBI, and thin tissue flap techniques for upper extremity reconstruction. Prior to medical school, he served in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, with one deployment to the NATO hospital in Kandahar, Afghanistan. He graduated from Tulane University in 2013 with a BA in English and minor in Portuguese. He enjoys camping in Florida’s national forests and rooting for his hometown Philadelphia Eagles.
