Experience: Apalachee Center since 2011 mostly providing individual psychotherapy, training/supervising doctoral clinical psychology students and some other students and postdocs and LMHC candidates, consulting to multidisciplinary team, serving on Mental Health Council of the Big Bend.
Areas of Interest: General Clinical Psychology in Community Mental Health Center setting across multiple levels of care with all age ranges and issues within my clinical competence. Special interest in applying Schema Therapy and other evidenced-based psychotherapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy and various Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies. We often encounter more severe and persistent mental illness issues including trauma, grief, and severe challenges with depression, anxiety, mood, psychotic, substance use, and personality disorders, autism spectrum disorder and ADHD, and often with individuals experiencing poverty and with diverse demographic backgrounds including race, ethnicity, gender identity, and sexuality, and within both civil and forensic contexts.  
​​​​​​​Hobbies: Spending time with family, active participation in my faith such as building wheelchair ramps in the community and playing music, cycling on local trails, travel, and lifelong learning. ​​​​​​​
