Marshall Frank, DO, MPH, FACEP, FAEMS
EMS Fellowship Program Director

Dr. Frank is an EMS and emergency medicine physician. He is board-certified in both emergency medicine and EMS medicine. He completed EMS fellowship at the University of South Florida. He completed a master’s degree in public health (MPH) at the University of South Florida with a focus in disaster management. He has been a medical Director since 2012. He is the medical Director for the Sarasota County Fire Department, Bayflite helicopter EMS program, Sarasota/Bradenton International Airport Fire department, the Suncoast Technical College, the city of Sarasota Police SWAT team, and Nokomis volunteer fire department. He is core faculty, and Director of EMS education for the Florida State University emergency medicine residency program. He is active in EMS at the state level and is the president of the Florida Association of EMS Medical Directors. He is also the former secretary/treasurer and former vice president of that organization. He was appointed by the state surgeon general to sit on the executive board of Florida EMS for children. He is also the chairman of the medical care committee for the state EMS Advisory Council.  

 Andrew Kropp, MD

Andrew Kropp, MD

Dr. Kropp was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. A proud Seminole, he attended Florida State University for college and medical school. He completed an Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Connecticut and an Emergency Medical Services fellowship at the University of South Florida with subsequent board certifications in both fields. Dr. Kropp has a particular interest in special operations including tactical and wilderness medicine.

George Nackley, DO

Residency: Florida State University
Medical School: Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine
College: Florida Gulf Coast University
Areas of Interest: Tactical Medicine and Pre-Hospital Care. 


Dr. Nackley was raised in southwest Florida. He attended Florida Gulf Coast University for undergrad and Liberty University for medical school. He completed emergency medicine residency and EMS Fellowship at FSU Sarasota. He is board certified in emergency medicine and EMS. He is a Christian, husband, and father. His EMS interests include tactical medicine, prehospital trauma care, and out of hospital cardiac arrest care. He is associate medical director for Sarasota County Fire Department and North Port Fire Rescue. He is also heavily involved with the Sarasota County Sheriff Department SWAT team.
