Scholarly Activity

All residents are required to participate in scholarly activity during their residency training. The specific requirements for this include QI projects, research, presentations, and involvement in hospital quality improvement committees.
If our residents' scholarly activity is accepted for presentation at a national meeting, our program offers annual research funds which covers residents’ travel in order to present research at national meetings. Our residents have been selected for poster and platform presentations at regional and national meetings, as well as publications in peer-reviewed journals.
