The Florida State University sponsored Internal Medicine Residency at Ascension Sacred Heart (Pensacola) participates in the NRMP MATCH.

Requirements:
Minimum Program Requirements are set by our sponsoring institution, Florida State University College of Medicine. Any acceptance to the program is contingent upon successful completion of medical school and other regulatory requirements. To be considered for selection to the program, your application must include:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Three (3) letters of recommendation (at least one of whom is an Internal Medicine physician)
- Medical School Transcripts
- Personal Statement
- Official USMLE (Step 1, Step 2) or COMLEX (Level 1, Level 2) transcripts showing actual scores. In order to be eligible for ranking, the applicant's USMLE Step 2 or COMLEX Level 2 score reports must be received by the program before the NRMP rank list deadline.
- Medical School Performance Evaluation (MSPE) or "Dean's Letter"
- Photograph
- For International Medical Graduates – Valid ECFMG Certificate
- Eligible to obtain a medical license in accordance with the Department of Health/Medical Quality Assurance Division of the Florida Board of Medicine
Preferred
- USMLE Step 1 & Step 2 or COMLEX Level 1 & Level 2 passed on first attempt
- Medical school graduation or enrollment in an accredited residency within three years of application
- Clinical experience within the United States

We consider permanent resident status and J-1 visa applicants
We do not offer H-1B visas
