Debra Danforth, associate professor and director of the Charlotte E. Maguire, M.D. and TMH Clinical Learning Center at the College of Medicine, was featured in a Florida Nurse Practitioners Network newsletter as a "shining star," during nurse week.
With the COVID-19 pandemic impacting the ability to conduct in-person clinical examinations, Danforth led the development of a virtual Objective Structured Clinical Examination that drew in 1350 registrants worldwide. The OSCE is designed to assess a person's ability to competently apply their professional discipline skills and knowledge.
