(M3, M4, and PA Students on Clinical Rotations)
Psychological Services:
Students at regional campus have the option for no-cost, after-hours telehealth services for mental health therapy and personal counseling. We have selected a panel of licensed psychologists working in private practice in Florida who are available to offer appointments at times that are convenient for your clinical rotation schedule (after 5pm on weekdays). These psychologists are in private practice and will provide continuity of care during your clinical years. For more information about the psychologists available to you and for instructions on how to schedule an appointment with each provider, please access our SharePoint site.
Academic Support:
If you are at regional campus and need academic assistance with your Shelf/EOR exams or STEP 2/PANCE, the psychologists in OSCS are available to schedule appointments during regular business hours. Please contact psychappt@med.fsu.edu if you would like an appointment for academics.
Psychiatry Services
All COM students can be referred for psychiatry services with Psychiatry Associates of Tallahassee, a local psychiatry private practice. Psychiatry Associates of Tallahassee does not have an evaluative role with the FSU COM. Psychiatry appointments are confidential and no-cost for all COM students, although students are responsible for the cost of their prescription medications. Psychiatry referrals must be made through our office.
- If you are a student on main campus, please request an appointment for a psychiatry referral via instructions above.
- If you are a student at regional campus have never been referred for psychiatry services, please make an appointment with the regional campus psychologists as instructed above.
- If you were previously referred for a psychiatry referral and need to re-establish care with Psychiatry Associates, you do not need another referral through our office. You may reach out directly to Psychiatry Associates to schedule a follow-up appointment.
