SRCD Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month Spotlight: Yang Hou

Yang Hou, Ph.D., assistant professor and director of the Development, Environment, and Resilience (DEaR) Lab, was featured in the Society for Research in Child Development’s (SRCD) Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month Spotlight. Her research focuses on neurobehavioral development among underrepresented populations, including individuals with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1).

Hou has published more than 60 peer-reviewed articles and received research support from the U.S. Department of Defense and the Children’s Tumor Foundation and she currently serves as an associate editor for the Journal of Research on Adolescence.
