What do you like about HMSS?

HMSS is an incredible opportunity. It provides students with advisors that can work with them on a personal level to help students achieve any self set goals. The program makes it easier for students to get involved with service in the Tallahassee community. It also gives students access to physicians who are available for shadowing. On top of all of this, it gives students a tight-knit group of classmates who all support one another through college.

Why do you want to go into medicine?

I want to go into medicine because I seek to make a difference in other people's lives and to improve the community in which I live in. My passion is to treat patients as individuals. I hope to be a physician who connects with patients and treats them as a whole instead of just treating the symptoms of the disease.
