About Us

Giving back

Here at MedServeSRQ, We believe that by combining our passion for medicine and our commitment to service, we can create a better future for ourselves and our communities. We strive to be leaders in our community and inspire others to make a difference in the world.

In short, our mission is to inspire, support, and empower high school and college students who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine by providing free college and pre-med counseling. We are a student-volunteer driven organization that in addition to mentoring- explore Sarasota's numerous nonprofit organizations and offer longitudinal volunteerism opportunities.

Organizations we partner with include The Haven, Girls Inc, NAMI, Second Heart Homes, and Easterseals. We coordinate creative and engaging volunteer opportunities for members of our community to create positive, impactful, and sustained change through our numerous partner organizations.

Consisting of local medical, college, and high school students- we strive to also mentor future generations and empower learners of all ages to pursue educational goals and aspirations.

Ways We Help

The Focus of Our Efforts

Community Outreach

MedServeSRQ is dedicated to helping and engaging with our local non-profits. Through our volunteer work with non-profit organizations, we aim to make a positive impact on the communities we serve. By working with these organizations longitudinally, we can establish meaningful relationships and make a lasting impact on those we serve. Lend a helping hand and join our service efforts coming up!

Mentorship

MedServeSRQ is a student-led organization dedicated to empowering high school and college students who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine. We achieve this by providing free college and pre-med counseling. Our goal is to create a community where high school students can receive the guidance and support they need to achieve their goals. We believe that every student should have access to the resources and opportunities necessary to reach their full potential, regardless of their socioeconomic background. Please refer to our mentorship tab if you are interested in being a part of this program!
