Medical Students

We are happy to offer a limited number of externships/sub-internships to active 4th-year medical students who will be graduating from a US-accredited medical school.

Curriculum and Experience

Students will have the opportunity to spend time with our residents and faculty both on our resident-led inpatient team, as well as in our residency clinic. Additional experience in inpatient, obstetrics, and procedures can be arranged depending on the student’s interest.

Requirements

Students must be a 4th-year medical student in good standing with a US-accredited medical school. We do not offer observerships or externships for non-US students/graduates. The rotation will be contingent upon executing an affiliation agreement between Lee Health and the student’s medical school. Additional credentialing paperwork will be required before the start date.
