What do you like about HMSS?

HMSS offers its students invaluable undergraduate opportunities of which include the means to network with individuals who share interests and goals. This gives underclassmen easy access to an experienced group of upperclassmen who want you to succeed. Additionally, HMSS serves as a facet through which its students can find various health related opportunities for volunteering and shadowing physicians to aid them in their future professional goals.

Why do you want to go into medicine?

I had the privilege of being introduced to the field of medicine by working for a primary care physician’s private practice in my small town. I was lucky to have experienced the joy of contributing to a clinic’s efficiency in delivering quality patient care to my local community. My experience there truly solidified and reaffirmed the ambition I have to pursue medicine.
