What do you like about HMSS?

I love that HMSS provides a network of engaged students who are all interested in both medicine and service to the community. Everyone in HMSS is so supportive of each other, and we all push each other to become better students and people. I also appreciate being connected to the various service opportunities associated with HMSS.

Why do you want to go into medicine?

I would like to go into medicine because I want to improve the wellbeing of others, as well as challenge myself by becoming a physician. I would like to practice as a primary care physician, perhaps in pediatrics or family medicine. In addition, I would like to improve healthcare access in rural areas as well as other underserved populations.
