Music in Medicine
Mission
The Music in Medicine program provides a platform for FSU College of Medicine students to share music with the community, using research-based methods to promote creativity, strengthen social connections, and enhance wellbeing.
How does Music in Medicine Work?
Music in Medicine hosts concerts performed by medical student volunteers throughout the year. Musical pieces are chosen based on research concluding that familiar music can reduce anxiety in people of all ages and increase memory recollection in older adults.
