Boris Kantor, Ph.D., Joining IPRD as Director of Viral Vector and Genome Editing Core Facility

We are pleased to announce that Boris Kantor, Ph.D., will join the FSU Institute for Pediatric Rare Diseases (IPRD) as Director of our new Viral Vector and Genome Editing Core Facility.

Kantor brings decades of experience in the development of AAV and lentiviral vectors for both research and clinical applications.

The new Core will provide state-of-the-art services in viral vector design, production, and genome editing, supporting both basic and translational research across FSU and beyond.

IPRD Director Pradeep Bhide noted, “This is a major step forward in our mission to accelerate breakthroughs in rare disease research and precision medicine.”
