FSU COM Fort PIerce campus welcomes its newest member of their Community Board
Dr. Bakerman is currently the Chief Medical Officer at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital. He is a Board Certified Cardiologist and Board Certified in Clinical Informatics. He completed medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Boston University, University Hospital. He also completed a Fellowship in Cardiology at University Hospital. 
Dr. Bakerman completed a degree program for Masters in Medical Management (MMM) in 1998 at Tulane University, and the AMIA 10 X 10 program in Informatics offered by OHSU in 2007. He has an interest in leadership for physicians, and was a Board member for the American Association for Physician Leaders. Dr. Bakerman continues to teach in the Certified Physician Executive (CPE) program.
