Flynn Presents on Perinatal Behavioral Health at Healthy Start Conference

Department Chair Heather Flynn, Ph.D., was a keynote speaker at the 2025 Florida Association of Healthy Start Coalitions (FAHSC) Annual Conference, where she presented “Perinatal Behavioral Health—Effects and Interventions.” Her talk focused on the impact of mental health during pregnancy and early parenthood and highlighted evidence-based strategies to support the well-being of parents and infants.

FAHSC leads statewide efforts to improve the lives of pregnant and postpartum women, fathers, infants, and young children up to age three through accessible, affordable, and high-quality programs designed to provide compassionate care and lasting support.
