Featuring a presentation of Peggy Battin’s provocative TEDMED talk. The philosopher and bioethicist tells us the moving story of how and why her husband chose to die. A panel of local experts will be present to respond to your thoughtful questions.
This 2017 National Health Care Decisions Day event is sponsored by the Center for Innovative Collaboration in Medicine and Law and Big Bend Hospice and will consist of a series of speakers lecturing on end-of-life care. The event will also include various tables set up by community resources in the atrium.
