What do you like about HMSS?

What I like most about HMSS is the community of students with similar goals and aspirations. I have already made friends in HMSS who share similar goals and values as me, and are driven to be positive influences on the community. HMSS also provides me with the unique resources and guidance that I will need to achieve my goal of attending medical school.

 

Why do you want to go into medicine?

I want to go into medicine because I want to use my aptitude for science in a positive way in the world. Medicine allows me to combine my ability in science and passion for service to improve the lives of people in my community. I have also been inspired to go into medicine after shadowing a doctor at a medical clinic in my hometown and being able to see firsthand the effects that a physician dedicated to service can have on a community.
