What do you like about HMSS?

HMSS is a network of caring friends who connect with and support each other even before arrival at FSU. I have made great friends through HMSS, all of whom are service and goal-oriented students who achieve balance and enjoy college life. Being surrounded by people who not only work hard to achieve their goals, but also assure you are meeting yours, is the best part about HMSS.

 

Why do you want to go into medicine?

I have always had fervent interest in science. My favorite discipline has always been biology, because the systems and functions within living things fascinate me. I am drawn to medicine not only because of my basic interest in science, but also because being a physician involves a life-long commitment to compassionate care for patients. I aspire to channel my love for science in a way that uses technology while preserving and respecting the doctor-patient relationship.
