Don’t miss your chance to register for the 10th Annual Perinatal Mental Health Conference, taking place January 8–10, 2026, at the FSU Alumni Center in Tallahassee! This conference serves as a statewide gathering designed to bring together physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, researchers, healthcare professionals, community organizations, students, advocates, and more who share a commitment to improving perinatal mental health outcomes.

Over the course of three days, attendees will have the opportunity to explore the latest research, learn from leading experts, and engage with best practices and innovative care approaches that strengthen the field of perinatal behavioral health. Through interactive sessions, poster presentations, and collaborative discussions, the conference provides a forum for exchanging ideas, developing skills, and advancing evidence-based strategies that support families across Florida.

Description

We are proud to be partnering with First 1000 Days Florida, an initiative dedicated to promoting evidence-based policies, comprehensive services, and strong support for expectant and new families. As part of this partnership, First 1000 Days Florida will host the Day 1 Poster Showcase and Reception on January 8, highlighting research, programs, and community efforts across the state.

NOTE: The deadline for abstract and presenter submissions has been changed to October 1, 2025.

Submit your abstracts to be featured at the 10th Annual Perinatal Mental Health Conference, taking place January 8–10, 2026, in Tallahassee.

On Day 1 (January 8), the First 1000 Days Florida Showcase & Reception will highlight efforts across the state with poster presentations. Poster submissions are welcomed from researchers, healthcare professionals, community organizations, students, and family leaders, and should align with this year’s theme, Centering Maternal Mental Health Across the First 1000 Days. Poster abstract submissions are due by October 1, 2025.

CALL FOR ORAL ABSTRACTS

On Days 2–3 (January 9–10), the main conference will feature oral presentations. Presenter abstracts are invited on topics including Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Substance Use Disorder, Perinatal and Maternal/Paternal Health Equity, Model Programs to Improve Perinatal Behavioral Health, Maternal or Paternal Behavioral Health, and Perinatal Policies. Presenter submission deadline: October 1, 2025.
