Description
Dr. Muglia, President and CEO of the Burroughs Wellcome Fund, will review the impact of preterm birth, challenges in understanding the mechanisms that control human birth timing, and the potential to use human genomics to reveal new insights into potential interventions. Dr. Muglia will present recent data that identify maternal genomic regions that regulate the time for birth and their implications for new preventative strategies.
