Introduction

We invite you to join us at the AMWA Region 4 Conference!

The American Medical Women's Association (AMWA) is an organization of women physicians, students, and other persons dedicated to serving as the unique voice for women's health and the advancement of women in medicine.

This conference will provide the opportunity for students to network and participate in educational and networking sessions that support AMWA's vision to empower women to lead in improving health and that are also important for their professional development in the field of medicine. Students will learn about AMWA’s advocacy initiative in human trafficking and health policy. They will also hear from professionals about career choice and options, gender discrimination in the workforce, and family/work balance.
