Introduction

We are excited to continue the 2024 Learning Series for Community Leaders with a special two-part Learning Series spotlighting the work of the @Florida State University College of Medicine Area Health Education Center (AHEC) and the Big Bend AHEC titled “Tobacco & Vaping: What Communities Need to Know.” Part 1 will focus on the college’s AHEC program and be led by Director Susan LaJoie, APRN, DrPH, FNP-C, and Rebecca Carter, LCSW.

Throughout the year we will continue our mission to connect community leaders, advocates, researchers, and organizational partners to support our shared capacity to conduct and participate in community development and research opportunities. Please keep watch for the upcoming monthly sessions. We look forward to seeing you!
