IPRD-funded scientists Qing-Xiang Amy Sang, Sonia Kiran, Yu Xue, and Drishty Badhon Sarker reveal how induced pluripotent stem cell-derived (iPSC) astrocytes influence ATRTs and DIPGs, and other rare pediatric brain tumors. 

Their research shows how astrocytes can significantly modulate the growth of these tumor cells and their chemosensitivity, highlighting their role in therapeutic resistance.
