Dr. Sylvie Naar, director of the Florida State University Center for Translational Behavioral Science, has received a grant from the NIH to promote evidence-based diagnose and prevention counseling testing and referral services (CTR) for young men who have sex with men (YMSM). The goal is to improve the capacity of the HIV HealthForce to deliver evidence-based practices within CTR services.

Recent studies have shown that CTR sites are underprepared or do not know how to deliver CTR services to YMSM. Thus, implementation strategies based on effectiveness of outcomes and implementation outcomes will be used to determine the effectiveness of the Young Adult Centered HealthForce Training.
