Qing-Xiang Amy Sang Named Distinguished Research Professor at Florida State University


We are proud to announce that IPRD-Supported Scientist Qing-Xiang Amy Sang, Ph.D., an internationally recognized leader in cancer research, has been named a Distinguished Research Professor by FSU. This prestigious honor recognizes Sang’s outstanding scholarly achievements and long-standing contributions to the field of biomedical science.
Since joining FSU in 1993, Sang has made significant strides in cancer research, earning major research funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, and other leading organizations. She currently holds the Endowed Professorship in Cancer Research and is an elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
Sang's groundbreaking work continues to advance discovery and innovation at FSU and beyond.
