CTBScience Directed Individual Studies Student Wins Prestigious Award

Celina Meyer, a DIS undergraduate student in the Center for Translational Behavioral Science (CTBScience) was awarded a 2019 Garnet and Gold Scholar Society IDEA Grant.
The $4,000 award is for her project, The Role of Adverse Childhood Experiences and Household Stability on the Development of Emotional Regulation in Adulthood. This is a prestigious award that funds an independent 8-12 week project that will be presented at the President’s Showcase of Undergraduate Research Excellence in the fall. Celina is an Honors student and one of the DIS students working with Dr. Julia Sheffler at the CTBSCience.
