Mollika Hossain

Mollika graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in religion. She completed the Collegiate Health Service Corps program in Gainesville, where she participated in three community-based health projects dealing with health disparities locally and in the rural community. She has also explored health on a global platform by going on a medical mission trip to Panama, where she worked with physicians to provide underserved communities with medical care and resources. In addition to being academic chairman of the Minority Association of Pre-health Students (MAPS), Mollika was also a member of Global Nomads, in which she participated in fundraising events to raise awareness and collect donations for the Hope Foundation in Bangladesh. As someone who greatly appreciates the arts, she also volunteered in the Arts in Medicine Program at Shands Cancer Hospital.
