- Spring semester disbursement

- FAFSA should be filed by February 28th for newly admitted students to be considered for grants.
- Plan for start-up expenses
March
- College of Medicine Foundation Scholarship Application link available March 17th
- Check credit report
April
- Med 1 students early Orientation
- Develop budget plan for Medical School
- April 1st scholarship application opens to students to apply within FS4U.
May
- Students admitted should have electronically completed the Loan Entrance Counseling Form (LECF), Account Refund Set-up form (ARS) submitted all requested documents from their Financial Aid Student Toolkit to the Financial Aid Coordinator and chosen a lender for their Stafford Loans.
- Report ALL outside scholarship sources to the College of Medicine Financial Aid Coordinator for the Summer Term.
June
- June 14th FS4U scholarship application window closes.
July
- Financial aid award process begins for fall semester
August
- Report outside Scholarship resources to COM Financial Aid Coordinator for the fall/spring term
- View your fall semester bill online at http://www.fees.fsu.edu
September - October
- Fall semester disbursement
- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be filed after October 31st. It is recommended that students complete their taxes prior to completing the FAFSA online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.
November
- Review budget plan and adjust spring financial aid if necessary
