Disbursements 

Summer & Fall disbursements typically occur 1 week before classes begin.  Spring disbursements typically occur during the 1st week of classes.

* Students please be advised that it is possible for your financial aid to take up to 2 weeks for disbursement from the first day of classes. The information above is subject to change, therefore, please have at least 2 weeks of finances available.

IMPORTANT NOTICES

EMAIL Notice:  It is important that all students check their myFSU email accounts at least three times a week. This email account is the official method by which the University will communicate with students concerning financial obligations.

Enroll in direct deposit:  Students must enroll in direct deposit to receive their refund in the bank account provided.

Grant Disbursement Permission:  FSU automatically apply your Federal Aid to tuition, however, students must grant FSU permission to apply their Federal Aid to all other charges.

Tuition Payment:  Tuition is due upon registration.  If payment is not made by the second week of classes, above, students will incur a $100 late payment fee.  Payments may be made in person at  A1500 University Center, Student Business Services from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Cashiers may accept FSUCards, cash, personal checks, money orders and cashiers checks.  Payments may also be made online at http://www.fees.fsu.edu.  A 2% service fee will be added to all online credit card payments.
