IMS Student Awarded Prestigious Dean’s Cup Award at Leadership Awards Night

Brandell Theard, a senior Clinical Professions major, was awarded a prestigious Dean’s Cup Award at the 2021 Leadership Awards Night, for demonstrating a dedication and commitment to the eight tenets of the Seminole Creed: Truthfulness, Respect, Excellence, Freedom of Speech and Inquiry, Diversity, Justice, Citizenship, and Discovery. Brandell has modeled these tenets through his involvement on and off campus. He was a student researcher in the UROP Program, he served as an Ambassador for the Center for Academic Retention and Enhancement Program (CARE), and he is a member of the USSTRIDE Program. He also served as a mentor at James Rickards High School and Palmer Munroe Teen Center. He currently serves as a mentor for the Nims Academy of Legal Studies at Nims Middle School.  Brandell is also an active member and leader of the Progressive Black Men and Black Men In Medicine student organizations. Congratulations, Brandell on this wonderful achievement!
