Dr. James Olcese has discovered a hormone in the uterus of pregnant women that dictates the timing of labor. In order to prevent premature contractions, Dr. Olcese has invented a mask that emits a blue light and helps prevent contractions that come too soon. With this new tool, women globally may be able to prevent preterm labor and all of the dangers and costs that arise.
