Dr. Marisa Agama, Ph.D., IMS Experiential Curriculum Director, received an Innovation in Teaching Award at the 2021 Leadership Awards Night.  Dr. Agama has spent numerous hours modifying the IHS4901 IMS Capstone course to focus less on classroom lectures but more on one-on-one student meetings, providing individualized teachings to her students. She also developed an online capstone course that allows student the flexibility of working on their projects on their own instead of the classroom. Her students are often heard thanking her for her patience, eagerness to help with their projects, and dedication to the student’s success. She not only transforms a classroom but the individual students as well. Congratulations, Dr. Agama!
