Description

Each year, the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) hosts National Primary Care Week to allow students and healthcare professionals to come together and highlight the importance of primary care. This includes bringing to light important issues such as the challenges of the healthcare system to provide equal, high quality health care to all individuals, regardless of ethnicity, race and other factors. The goal is to discuss important topics related to primary care and to provide students with the tools to address these inequalities.

For National Primary Care Week, AMSA will be collaborating with FMIG, IMIG, GIG, OGIG, PIG, and SAAAPA. They will be hosting zoom meetings every day at noon during the week of Oct. 5 with speakers within the field of primary care.
