In March, Department of Family Medicine and Rural Health Assistant Professor, Dr. Charles Fleischer, received a $20,000 First-Year Assistant Professor Award from the FSU Council on Research and Creativity to assist him with his research taking place this summer. The summer 2020 project focuses on the practice of preventive medicine in Honduras. Dr. Fleischer's project mentor is Dr. George Rust, a Professor in the Department of Behavioral Science and Social Medicine Professor.
