Through the Maguire Medical Library as faculty, you have access to more than 80,000 electronic journals, 2000 medical e-books, 900 databases, and $2,000 worth of point of care mobile medical apps. This workshop will teach you the basics of how to take advantage of these electronic resources, as well as highlight resources and ways to access them.

Attendees at this workshop will learn how to:

  • Access and navigate the Maguire Medical Library web site
  • Find e-books and e-journals
  • Access drug and EBM resources
  • Locate patient education handouts
  • Find mobile resources
  • Request assistance from the medical library team
