Kyle Batton

Kyle Batton earned an Honors Medallion from Florida State University, where he participated in the Honors Medical Scholars Program and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science and minors in chemistry and sociology. He is completing a Master of Public Health during medical school. As an undergraduate student, he partnered with FSU SSTRIDE to bring after-school math and science tutoring to a Tallahassee middle school. He also participated in the CRISP research program at Mayo Clinic Florida, and served one-year terms as president of the AMA/FMA interest group and VP of the business and medicine interest group. He has since participated in several mentorship panels for medical school applicants both at Mayo and at FSU, and has been active in the FSUCares outreach program. In addition, he has spearheaded an interprofessional workshop series with the College of Social Work, and is orchestrating a multidisciplinary Humanities in Medicine event with the Colleges of Art, Music and Social Work. He is a medical student representative for the Volusia County Medical Society. His special interests include sociology and public health, medical technology/AI, and traveling.
