Charles R. Mathews Geriatrics Education and Research Scholarships

Through a generous donation from Charles R. Mathews, M.D., an eminent retired physician in Florida, the Department has been able to offer a regular summer research scholarship to first-year medical students. The goal of the Charles R. Mathews Scholarship for Geriatrics Research and Education is to provide students at the FSU College of Medicine with the opportunity to engage in a summer research project with faculty that relates to the field of geriatrics.
