Kate Gargiula, D.O.
PGY-1 Resident

  • Medical School: Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Professional Interests/Goals: My professional interests include high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, and comprehensive women's healthcare. I enjoy the variety within obstetrics and gynecology and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients while supporting their evolving healthcare needs, from reproductive health and pregnancy to menopause and hormone replacement therapy. As I continue my residency training, I hope to develop a broad clinical and surgical skill set that will allow me to provide well-rounded, high-quality care to women throughout Southwest Florida.
  • Personal Interests: I enjoy staying busy and always having something to look forward to. I love hosting events and bringing family and friends together for any occasion, big or small. I also enjoy creative hobbies, particularly crocheting and exploring new craft projects. Most of all, I love spending time on the water, whether boating, fishing, spending a day at the beach, or shelling along the coast. Growing up in Southwest Florida, I have always enjoyed the coastal lifestyle and especially love sharing these experiences with family and friends.

Alexa Jauregui, M.D.
PGY-1 Resident

  • Medical School: Indiana University School of Medicine
  • Professional Interests/Goals: “Still undecided! Most important is I’d love to become a well-rounded OB/GYN! I definitely love Labor and Delivery, so I could see myself as a laborist one day, but I also love the continuity and relationships you get to build with patients in the clinic.”
  • Personal Interests: Exploring the local food scene, Reality TV, +10% incline walks.

Mariah Mcintyre, D.O.

Mariah Mcintyre, D.O.
PGY-1 Resident

  • Medical School: Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Professional Interests/Goals:“ My professional interests are becoming a well-rounded OBGYN. I don’t have plans for fellowship as I like the variety being a generalist offers, but I would love to later take time to teach in some capacity.
My current goal is sharpening my skills as much as I can. My special interests within the field of OBGYN lie in benign, gynecologic surgery and symptomatic management of menopause. Though frankly a day on labor and delivery where I get to spend time with moms in labor is always a gratifying one.”
  • Personal Interests: Photography, and Tennis
