- Meet with your IMS Academic Advisor and EL Advisor every semester.
- You should be completing a minimum of 32 Experiential Learning hours each semester.
- Be sure to follow your IMS Academic Advisor’s advice on course scheduling to remain on track to graduate, meet mapping milestones, and not exceed excess credits, or get in trouble with financial aid.
- If you choose to enroll in a FIG or other courses other than the one advised to take, be aware that some of those courses may not count toward your degree requirement and could impact excess credits.
- Be sure to check prerequisites for ALL future courses you plan to enroll in.
- Taking courses out of sequence can prevent you from graduating or delay graduation.
- Having a strong math and science background is important for the advanced sciences you will be taking in the future.
- Go to all of your classes and be on time.
- Attend instructor’s and/or TA’s office hours for assistance.
