2025 Hippocratic Award

The 2025 Hippocratic Award winner was nominated by students from the Pensacola Regional Campus and its class vice president, Kyle Carey.
The recipient of this award is described by his students as humble and respectful, a great mentor for all medical students, and someone who cares deeply for his patients and has a passion for furthering the profession of medicine.
This year’s Hippocratic Award recipient is Dr. Robert Wilson, Jr. – universally known as “Dr. Bob” – who has been a fixture in Pensacola since landing there in 1966, courtesy the United States Air Force as Chief of Pediatrics at Maxwell Air Force Base. Just a little later, in 2002, he joined Florida State University College of Medicine clinical faculty in Pensacola, where he’s been training third- and fourth-year medical students and coordinating pediatric curriculum.
