Katherynn Pledger, IMS Graduate Spring 2022


We are proud to share that another IMS graduate is exceling. Katherynn Pledger, IMS 2022, Health Management, Policy & Information Major, is a co-author on a study with faculty from the College of Nursing. The study titled, “Exploratory analysis of factors that influence maternal deviation from prenatal infant feeding plans: A research brief” was published in the Journal of Applied Nursing. Katherynn started with the lab as a UROP student and continued working in the lab. Her interests in maternal health and infant feeding served as the foundation for her Senior Capstone Project and Report. As a post-bac, Katherynn is working full time as a medical scribe and plans to apply to medical school in the upcoming year.
