Spring 2026 Wellness Wednesday Brings Immokalee Campus Together
Faculty, staff, and trainees from the Florida State University College of Medicine Immokalee Campus recently gathered for a Spring 2026 Wellness Wednesday candle making workshop, an interactive activity designed to promote relaxation, connection, and workplace well being.
The hands-on workshop offered participants an opportunity to step away from daily responsibilities, engage creatively with colleagues, and focus on self care in a supportive environment. Events like these are intentionally structured to foster a sense of community while reinforcing the importance of wellness in academic medicine and healthcare training settings.
“Activities like this create space for our faculty, staff, and trainees to recharge, connect with one another, and feel supported,” said Dr. Javier Rosado, Regional Director of the FSU College of Medicine Immokalee Campus.
The Wellness Wednesday series reflects the FSU College of Medicine’s ongoing commitment to supporting provider well-being, addressing burnout, and cultivating a healthy learning and working environment for faculty, staff, and trainees.
